旧金山的交通卡(Clipper Card),感觉不太好

说真的,旧金山临近硅谷,但是我真的不觉得这个城市有任何的智能化,甚至连他们的交通卡(Clipper Card),我都觉得是一个笑话。可以说既不智能,也不方便。

一下飞机,我就准备去买旧金山的交通卡了。这个倒是很方便,而且人家支持Apple和安卓,这个倒是不错。但是实际体验中,真的是太差了。

1.Apple Pay 并不好用:

实际体验中,可能是因为我的手机是加拿大的原因,并不是很好用,一下飞机,苹果就提醒了,我可以加 Clipper Card 到我的Apple Wallet里面。而且他们的宣传,也是鼓励大家使用苹果或者安卓。但是实际上,我一开始使用了大半天,但是一直没有激活,这个过程大概要5-10分钟。因为我很着急,一直tap,一直不成功,很尴尬。之后坐公交,也有很高的几率Tap 不成功,难道是因为我是加拿大来的吗?但是充值倒是很快,一秒钟到账

2.Clipper Card 在线充值:烂

尽然要1-2天的时间到账,这个我彻底无语了。我把原文给你拷贝出来。简单的说,最短1-2天,如果用银行账户的autoload,第一次要10天。我差点怀疑自己的眼睛了。

–             If you place your order by 6 p.m., you can usually pick up your value in the next 1 to 2 days.
–             If you are picking up your value on a bus or a Muni light-rail vehicle, please allow up to 5 days.
–             If you set up Autoload using a bank account as your payment method, please allow an additional 10 days for value to first be available.
 
If you set up Autoload, please be sure to keep your payment method up to date with a valid credit/debit card or bank account. If you haven’t already done so, we encourage you to set up a backup payment method in case we can’t charge your primary method. From your Clipper account page, simply click “Add My Backup Funding” in the My Payment Information box.

3.退钱超级麻烦

如果说,充值到账慢是一个问题,那么多余的钱退回来,又是一个问题。

In order to cancel a registered Clipper card and request a refund of the remaining balance (min $5.00 balance required), complete and submit the Clipper Card Cancellation Form, available at https://www.clippercard.com/ClipperWeb/forms.html. Each Clipper card requires a separate form and a $5 fee. You may disregard the request to return the Clipper card; it will be blocked during the refund process. When submitting a Card cancellation request, please allow up to 30 days or longer for processing. You may send the form by email to [email protected] or by mail to the address listed on the form. The approved refund would be provided in the form of a check, to the address provided on the form. Please be advised, Clipper cards loaded with Pre-Tax Transit Benefits are not eligible for a card refund. If you need account specific information please contact the number below, as we are unable to provide specific account information via email.
